Our Godparents — Dani & Sanda
We are so grateful to have Dani and Sanda as our Godparents (Nași)—two incredible people who mean the world to us. Their story is woven into ours in the most beautiful way. Sanda’s father and Roxana’s father were best friends in high school, and years later, life brought that friendship full circle when “Big Don” and TJ instantly hit it off, becoming best friends themselves. It feels only fitting that the bond between our families continues through this next chapter of love and celebration.
In Romanian wedding tradition, the Nași play one of the most meaningful roles. They are a married couple chosen to serve as spiritual guides and lifelong mentors to the newlyweds. During the ceremony, they hold special honors—such as placing the wedding rings, crowning the couple, and offering blessings for a happy marriage. Beyond the wedding day, they remain a source of support, wisdom, and love throughout our lives together.
Having Dani and Sanda by our side as our Godparents is both an honor and a joy. Their kindness, strength, and friendship have touched our hearts deeply, and we couldn’t imagine beginning our marriage without them leading the way.
