If you know us, you know mornings start with one thing on T.J.'s mind—mic dejun (breakfast!)! It’s our favorite part of the day. You can grab breakfast right at the hotel, find a cozy café in the square, or do it the local way—street food from the windows along Bălcescu. Trust us, it’s so good you’ll want to go back for seconds. We have before - many times!
Sibiu is the kind of place that feels like it was made for slow mornings, good food, and long walks. From cozy corners to lively little spots, it’s full of places that make us feel at home, spark joy, and remind us why we love exploring together.
While you’re here for the wedding, we hope you’ll wander, eat, sip, and soak it all in. Stroll through the cobblestone streets, pop into a hidden café, or climb up the Council Tower for the best views in town. One of our favorite things to do is just sit in the Large or Small Square, order a drink or two, and people-watch for hours. There’s no rush here—just good vibes, laughter, and a city that’s impossible not to fall in love with.

If you arrive here and feel a bit unsure, don’t worry—you’re exactly where you should be. Head down into the cozy basement of Crâna Veche, a century-old gem serving authentic Romanian cuisine. The servers wear traditional costumes, and the rustic atmosphere combined with hearty, traditional dishes makes it one of our absolute favorites.
